TT UI/Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 May 2026
Template notice: This document is provided as a starting point for TT UI and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before production use.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TT UI (the website, documentation, public registry, premium registry, and related services) operated by Tibbs Tech Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in the United Kingdom.
By accessing or using TT UI, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
TT UI is a component registry and documentation service for React UI components, blocks, and templates, distributed primarily through a shadcn-compatible registry and CLI.
We provide:
- A Free public registry (
@tt-ui/...) with open components and documentation - Paid tiers (Builder, Studio, Foundry) for premium registry components (
@tt-ui-pro/...), blocks, and templates, subject to a completed one-time purchase, personal CLI tokens (Builder+), and authenticated API routes - Account, billing, and dashboard tools (via Clerk and Stripe)
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
3. Accounts
- You must create an account (via Clerk) to purchase a paid tier or use premium registry features (dashboard, CLI tokens, premium API).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use TT UI.
4. Purchases and billing
4.1 Paid tiers (one-time)
Builder, Studio, and Foundry are sold as one-time purchases through Stripe Checkout. By completing checkout, you authorise a single charge at the then-current price for the tier selected. Higher tiers include the capabilities of lower tiers (for example, Foundry includes Studio and Builder access).
4.2 Upgrades
You may upgrade to a higher tier by purchasing it while signed in; we apply the highest tier you have paid for to your account. We do not automatically refund prior tier purchases when you upgrade.
4.3 Billing portal
The Stripe Customer Portal (linked from your dashboard or pricing page) may provide payment history and receipts. One-time purchases do not renew automatically.
4.4 Price changes
We may change prices for future purchases with advance notice. Prices already paid are not affected retroactively.
4.5 Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, one-time purchase fees are non-refundable.
4.6 Taxes
Prices may exclude taxes; you are responsible for applicable taxes unless we are required to collect them.
5. Licences and acceptable use
5.1 Free components (public registry)
Free components made available through the public TT UI registry are licensed to you under the MIT License, as set out below, unless we state otherwise for a specific component.
MIT License (Free components) - Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of Free component source via the TT UI registry, to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of software that incorporate those components (for example your applications), subject to the following conditions:
The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of software to the extent required by the MIT License for those incorporated portions.
Free components are provided without warranty, as described in Section 10 (Disclaimer of warranties).
Free tier - additional restrictions: Even under MIT, you must not:
- Resell or repackage the TT UI Free registry itself (or substantial collections of TT UI component source) as a competing component library, template marketplace, or registry product
- Misrepresent affiliation with Tibbs Tech Ltd or TT UI
Using Free components inside commercial or non-commercial applications and client projects is permitted.
5.2 Premium registry (paid tiers)
Subject to these Terms, an active paid tier (Builder, Studio, or Foundry as applicable), and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:
- Install and use premium registry content you are entitled to (components on Builder+; blocks on Studio+; templates on Foundry) in your own software projects, including commercial products and services
- Modify premium source as needed for integration into those projects
Paid tiers do not grant you:
- Ownership of premium source, TT UI branding, or the registry
- The right to redistribute, resell, or sublicense premium source as a standalone product
- The right to publish premium registry downloads for third parties who do not hold their own paid tier
- The right to transfer your licence to another person or organisation (each user needs their own purchase where applicable)
Same spirit as Free, stricter on source: You may ship premium-derived code inside your applications to your end users. You may not ship TT UI’s premium library as the product.
5.3 Prohibited conduct (all users)
You must not:
- Share, publish, or resell your personal registry Bearer token (
REGISTRY_TOKEN) or Pro registry downloads to third parties - Scrape, bulk-download, or mirror the Pro registry to build a competing product or public registry
- Circumvent access controls (including shared operator tokens except as we expressly permit for authorised CI)
- Use automated means to access the registry in a manner that unreasonably burdens our systems (see Section 7 (Fair use, rate limits, and API abuse))
- Use TT UI in violation of law or third-party rights
- Attempt to disrupt or probe our systems without authorisation
We monitor registry access (including security telemetry described in our Privacy Policy) and may revoke tokens, rate-limit, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose an abuse risk.
5.4 Revocation and expiry
Paid access is lifetime for the tier purchased unless we revoke your account for Terms violations or you receive a refund where required by law. If your plan is reset to Free (for example after manual revocation), premium registry API access and CLI token validity cease.
You may continue to use premium source already integrated into your applications as of revocation, subject to Section 5.2 (no redistribution of the library itself). You may not install additional premium content from the registry without an active paid tier.
6. CLI registry tokens
- Builder-tier users and above may create personal tokens in the dashboard for
npx shadcn@latest add @tt-ui-pro/...workflows. - You are solely responsible for storing tokens securely (environment variables, secret managers-not committed to version control).
- We may revoke tokens at any time for security or Terms violations.
7. Fair use, rate limits, and API abuse
To protect the service and other users, we may limit the frequency or volume of requests to our website and APIs (including the Pro registry API and authenticated utilities such as password breach checks), with or without notice.
Excessive, automated, or abusive access-including attempts to scrape the registry, brute-force tokens, or evade limits-may result in temporary blocks, token revocation, or account suspension.
If you believe a limit was applied in error, contact us at support@tibbstech.co.uk.
8. Intellectual property
- TT UI name, branding, site design, registry curation, and Pro component source are owned by Tibbs Tech Ltd or our licensors.
- Free component source is licensed under MIT as described in Section 5.1 (Free components); ownership remains with Tibbs Tech Ltd or our licensors, but your MIT rights apply to permitted uses.
- Component source installed into your repository becomes part of your project for development purposes; you are responsible for complying with licences of dependencies those components introduce (npm packages, shadcn primitives, etc.).
- You retain ownership of applications you build. We do not claim ownership of your app code that merely incorporates our components.
Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
9. Open source and third-party tools
TT UI builds on open ecosystems (including shadcn/ui, React, and npm packages). Your use of installed components is also subject to the licences of any bundled or referenced third-party software. We do not warrant third-party packages.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
TT UI AND ALL COMPONENTS, DOCUMENTATION, AND REGISTRY CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that components are error-free, secure, or suitable for regulated industries without your own review and testing.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Tibbs Tech Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or TT UI shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tibbs Tech Ltd against claims arising from your misuse of TT UI, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights through your applications (except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms).
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using TT UI at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (including licence restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) survive termination.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
15. General
- Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding TT UI.
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment: We may assign these Terms; you may not assign without our consent.
